I wanted more up-to-date car reliability information that included actual repair rates. So in late 2005 I started getting people together to make this possible. TrueDelta now updates actual repair frequencies, not just dots, four times a year, to track cars and trucks closely as they age.

We now provide results for some years of the Sorento, but I'd like to cover all of them. Just a matter of getting enough owners involved. So I'm grateful to this forum for stickying this thread here.

Participants simply report repairs the month after they occur on a one-page survey. When there are no repairs, they simply report an approximate odometer reading four times a year, at the end of each quarter.

To encourage participation, panel members will receive full access to the results for all models, not just the Sorento, for free.

Current have 7 or 8 owners for each model year. Need 25 to include the Sorento in the main survey. Other on-site surveys have no minimum sample, though, so people can participate right away.
