I was given the unfortunate pleasure of driving a 2010 Santa Fe with the 4cyl. engin this passed week when I was in Reno/Tahoe for a bowling tournament. What a pig that little 4 is! Horrible pick-up, and don't think about getting up any hills. If the new Sorento has this same engine in it, I am soo glad I have my girl!
I will admit that it was quite decent on gas though. We drove from San Fran. to Reno, then back to San Fran with it and avg'd 23.4 mpg all week. I just wish it would had a bit more pop, like my Sorie!!
Got in her today to go to work, and I forgot about the difference in Power, so I mashed the pedal down to get up to speed to merge onto a highway. I look down as I am getting on and I am doing 85mph in a blink!
