Ok, wife tells me that the headlight blew today and that she forgot to tell me the other blew about 2 months ago. Now she needs to go out tonight and has no head lights!! I check it out, replace the globes and notice one of the fog lights is also out.

I've unscrewed the fog light from under the car (behind the bumper) but can't for the life of me work out how to take the globe out. The manual shows something completely different to what I'm holding in my hand.

I'm no auto electrician, but WTF! Advice anyone??????

On a side not, I hate having to take out the whole headlight to change a bulb. I know it's easy but still a pain in the a$$ when your in a hurry!

My rant for the day.....

what year is the sorento?

mines an 2003 ... the replacement bulb is an 881. the bulb can be replaced by going under the vehicle and twisting the old bulb left and pull out. then do the same with the new bulb but vice versa. good luck!
Mines 07 and I reached in under the car found small metal clip release holding the lamp in . The hardest part was finding a new lamp W27 very unusual in Aus
I heated up the old bulb and pulled it off. I then soldered a LED cluster onto the leads. Still going after 2 years and they are on all the time while driving.
