G'Day Everyone,

I have only just got my new "05" Sorento and over the next week intend on having the following done to help it become ... SPORTY SORENTO !!

1: Sound System - DONE Now istalled see below:
2: 20" Wheels - Fitting Tomorrow pics soon.
3: Darker Tint - Mid Week
4: Remove all Badges - replace with New Grill / Circular badging on rear ( On Order )
5: Perhaps something funky with headlights - electric blue globes in parkers.
6: Electric blue globes above rear number plate - DONE
7: Woodgrain for gear stick ( On Order )

Keeping it clean cut and tidy other then above changes !!! may slightly lower depending on how new wheels look !?

** Hope you like - This headunit made by JVC and is the KD-AVX1 - It has a built in 3" screen which is CRIPSY clear - it can play DVD movies / music DVD's and can even play MP3 DVD's - its a very cool headunit and only real downfall is its bulky face - have seen this unit installed in other vehicles and it sticks out a mile and looks ugly - but sitting in the Sorento i think its quite tidy though I think I could do a little more with the top pocket !? - it also has motor driven screen tilt out options and sounds sensational. I have it driving 6 1/2 " Alpine S series speakers - splits in the front & 2 way in the rear - these are driven just form the headunit alone and crack quite a punch - the sub out is connected to a Blaupunkt PA2100 Amp which sits nicely in the sorento's rear storage coparment hidden - in the boot is a removable 12" sub - the sub box has been covered to match Sorento's factory carpet ! NICE !!! - This setup sounds sensational and has the seat vibrating !!! **
Looks great, I was thinking of getting that unit, but I think that it's preamps are only 1v, so that would be a downside for me. I want to get the eclipse in dash nav/dvd, but if I can't come up with $1700, then I might get the JVC.
Welcome aboad Sportysorento Bye2 hope you enjoy your stay and can't wait for more PICS.
excellent porn Sporty, can't ait to see more.
Look forward to seeing the other mods when you have done them.

Welcome aboard
Thats a nice list of mods and that unit looks cool, where are you from..... and welcome Sporty

Taff
Let us see that amp and sub box!!!
Greate stuff man!!! Keep on!!
Are those chrome rings around the manual climate-control knobs? When the heck did that happen? Man, I'm never gonna get my interior done if all these little things keep popping up!

Nice mod list... if you plan on lowering your Sorento, take a look at the Eibach springs instead of doing something drastic like cutting anything. They're engineered to give you a better ride and lower your vehicle 1.2" both front & back. It is their Pro-Kit line with part number: 4612.140

I had them on my previous vehicle and am thinking about them for my Sorento. Maybe paired up with some OME shocks will do the trick.
Yeah, I am with KSpec, I need, NEED, those chrome rings for around the A/C and what not.
