Will you fork over $38k for a 375HP Hyundai? The car looks awesome but I don't know if they are there yet.

Genesis to be $33K in the beginning

Hyundai has announced prices for its new flagship sedan, the 2009 Genesis: The base model, with a 3.8-liter, 290-horsepower V-6, will start at $33,000, including shipping. The more deluxe model with a 4.6-liter, 375-horsepower V-8 starts at $38,000.
While Hyundai has targeted cars such as Lexus ES, Chrysler 300 and Cadillac CTS, Genesis' performance capabilities and luxury features are, says the company, comparable to sedans costing tens of thousands of dollars more. The Genesis goes on sale at Hyundai dealerships in July.
The car is built on Hyundai's all-new rear-wheel-drive platform, using a five-link suspension at all four corners. It offers two powertrains, the 290-horsepower Lambda 3.8-liter V-6 engine mated to an Aisin six-speed automatic transmission, and Hyundai's all-new Tau 4.6-liter V-8 engine mated to a ZF six-speed automatic transmission. The V-8 produces 375 horsepower using premium fuel and 368 horsepower using regular unleaded, and has a projected fuel economy estimate of 17 mpg city, 25 highway.
The Genesis 3.8 achieves EPA fuel economy estimates of 18 mpg city, 27 highway. Genesis features include as XM radio's NavTraffic, and adaptive front lighting system, Lexicon audio systems and electronic active head restraints
