Nice mods... I noticed your trailer (nice hitch). I have an 08' soreto and looking for max towing capacity experience. Specs say 5000 lbs, but that is max rating not what experience says the max should be. I live in BC Canada - lots of hills & mountains- so maxing out the 5K is not a good thing here. What was/is dry weight of the traiuler depicted? Any recomendations or experiential comments would be appreciated.

T21Res left the fold a while ago ... in any case he was pulling a twin axle (I believe) that would tip the scales at about 1800kgs. But his Sorie was a diesel and UK ratings are much higher than yours. '08 diesel auto is rated at 3500kgs. I believe the '08 V6 was rated at 2800kg, but very, very few around for comparison as Kia UK stopped importing them soon after they were introduced.
