Has anyone installed an aftermarket deck and the harness that allows you to use the factory buttons on the wheel?
if you have, where did you get it?
Pac makers a wireless and wired steerign wheel interface. $30-$60 ..they r on ebay too..from what ive eard the really work..and just ahev a sec or 2 delay..the wired ones work..ONLy with aftermarket headunits that have a plug for steerioign wheel controls..not many do. i kno..some alpines, eclipse, and uh..pioneer? the upcoming kenwoods could? i dont knwo.
i took a look at their site, but i found a company in the UK that has VEHICLE specific and HEAD UNIT specific pairs. and so far im told they work. but im wondering if the wiring in the sorento in the UK differs from that of the north american models?

What is the name of the company in the UK? Web address etc. I have an Alpine head unit, and I am thinking of getting the steerting wheel controls from James to stick on my wheel but I need something to translate these to my head unit as there is no infrared on it.

i dont get this. i emailed soundgate once about here adapters..but they said the language is different on kia then some fords and chevys..what language? isnt it just pulses of electricity?!
Has anyone installed the audio controls to their wheel after the fact? I'm thinking of getting the ones from customsorento.com but want to know how hard they are to install.
I have taken off the panels on the side of the wheel but couldn't see any wires to attach it to.
